"Out of the Nest!" 2015 Event & Tickets
Need some encouragement? a moms' night out? Us too.
“Out of the Nest,” a “feather-ruffling moms’ night out” includes:
- stand up comedy by Laura Evans
- encouraging words from Holy Hen House blogger, Melissa Kreuser
- professional photography by Sarah Schlicht of Fresh Frame Photography
- live music by Joey Schumann and members of the Lutheran Ceili Orchestra
- $350+ in giveaways and vendor booths of our Platinum Egg sponsors
- an opportunity to support single mothers in need, like Kelsey, from New Beginnings
- catered hors d’oeuvres and desserts to savor
- wine to sip without interruption
Registration ends on April 10th or when max capacity is met! 10% of our ticket sales will benefit New Beginnings – a home for mothers, located in Milwaukee, WI. New Beginnings “seeks to help single mothers develop spiritually in God’s Word, become responsible citizens in society, continue education and achieve self-sufficiency, and be competent and loving Christian parents.”
Fill the Pack 'n Play! Help us fill up a pack 'n play with donated items for New Beginnings. They currently have two new mothers (one carrying twins!) and could use some more newborn girl and preemie size clothes. Bring the items along and fill up the pack 'n play! Here are some more items New Beginnings needs:
- newborn girl clothes
- preemie clothing
- newborn/size 1 diapers
- young baby toys or board books
- household items.

What to wear? Come dressed semi-formally and don't forget your polka dots ladies! Wear polka dots on your scarf, blouse or skirt... you get the idea. :)

Call your friends and invite them to come with you. Share the event with your local moms group and see if you have enough for the brood of hens discount. Bring your sisters or even your own mom!
